Last season it was just girl gone tailgating, in Iraq.  But,
I'm back from my assignment and we're ready to roll,
ready to return to our world of Extreme Tailgating and
College Football Gameday fun.

Since I've been away for the past year, I've had time to
think about ways we can improve our website.  Updates
are planned in the near future...just trying to decipher all
that internet code so we can make the site more
interactive.  It might take a bit (the current state of the
website has pushed me to my most techiness) but
hopefully we will soon incorporate a way to hear about
your tailgate stories too!
Girl Gone Tailgating, in Iraq:  Vitela hosting the USC v. Ohio State Tailgate Party in Ramadi
To kick off the season, we will be traveling to Seven Games in Seven Weeks at Seven Different
Stadiums...and that is just what we have planned for the beginning.  The adventures can only grow from
there!    We're even breaking with tradition and instead of starting at the Coliseum (or a USC away game),
we will inaugurate the 2009 s
eason in South Bend to watch Nevada v. Notre Dame.  I know -- that's
practically (if not, totally) sacrilegious for a Trojan but -- after spending a year in a war zone, I've decided to
mix it up a bit.

In the meantime, as in the three weeks until kick-off, there is really only one article I've come across lately
that is worth reading (thanks for passing it on, Craig!).  CBS Sports reported on the best college football
programs of the decade.  Of course, there's only one possibility for who was christened #1...check it out:
