We are...Girls Gone Tailgating!

The Top Ten Things to be Thankful for,
in Spite of Saturday’s Loss to Stanford
Meet the GGT Crew
10.  Oklahoma and Notre Dame.  At least Texas and UCLA went down on Saturday too.

9.  The rejection letter from Stanford that arrived in the mail back in 1993.  We may have
lost but I am glad I don’t hail from a university whose only tradition is to mock others.

8.  Two words:  Marshall Tailgate – it gets
the low maintenance tailgate award of
the season.  Made even better this week
when, after 15 years of friendship, I was
able to convince Shauna to stop by for the
fun.

7.  Glad John David Booty didn’t let one
of the biggest upsets in USC history get in
the way of his Saturday night fun clubbing
at Les Deux.  Guess we can all be grateful
the broken finger that kept him from
completing passes didn’t keep him from
getting girls later that same night.

                                                            6.  The KFC directly across from the Coliseum.
Never thought I’d write those words.

                                                            5.  That guy in the mini-van who saved us from
                                                            trekking down Figueroa.  Hitch-hiking across
Nebraska was child’s play.  Only pros could
manage to get around South Central LA
without a car of their own.

4.  My season ticket partners.  If you’re going to go down, best to at least live it up with the
likes of Serena and Payson.  No one better to rock out to Neil Diamond and John
Mellencamp with than those two.

3.  The new 9-0.  It sucks so much, there’s no
need to go ghetto after the game.  Hey guys –
you can show the game AND play music at the
same time.  Just a thought.

2.  Perspective.  This is a college football game.
It matters to us…seemingly more than it does
our quarterback.  But, it is still just a game.  Win
or lose, we should be grateful our lives are so
blessed that the outcome of a college football
game does matter.

1.  And, SC is still in the Top Ten.  Hope lives...
for at least six more days.
Hrabe - sorry I talked you into ditching the UCLA/ND game!
With Mia and Melissa en route to the Coliseum
It's all about perspective, right Uncle Doug and Serena?
