HARVEST TIME!
Nebraska and ESPN College Gameday Travel West
It wasn't so long ago that the USC student body submitted a
petition to the producers of ESPN's College Gameday to invite
Chris, Lee and Kirk to campus.  At the time, College Gameday
was celebrating 18 years on the air and yet, they hadn't once
made the trip to the Coliseum.

Now, two years later, the boys are coming to LA for the fourth
time!  Each of their three previous visits have been marked by a
Trojan victory and this weekend will be no different.

On paper, No. 19 Nebraska looks like a formidable opponent.
The farmers rival USC in stats -- we are both averaging more
than 50 points and 450 yards of total offense per game.  Only
difference is our numbers are the result of an SEC opponent,
their numbers from a Division I-AA team.

trip to the Coliseum - Oct 9, 2004

Both teams are considered football powerhouses.  But, USC has 11 national titles, Nebraska has 5.
USC has appeared in 44 bowls, Nebraska has been in 43.  USC has 7 Heisman Trophies, Nebraska
has 3.  And, you can expect Saturday's score to be just as lopsided.

This weekend's game will be USC's 2006 home opener...traditionally, one of the best days of the year
for Trojan fans.  The GGT crew will be in place by 5am for College Gameday.  Come out and join us --
we will be armed with jello shots.   Kick-off is at 5pm and the game will be televised on ABC.  I hope to
see you there!

Finally....Happy Birthday, Coach!  Pete Carroll celebrates his 56th birthday on Friday!
